- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 bell peppers, deseeded and diced (the colorful the better)
- 1 cup champignon mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon chinese rice wine
- 2 -3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Heat oil til really hot.
- Stir fry onions (1 minute), then garlic (20 seconds).
- Then add peppers and mushrooms. Stir-fry until it becomes a bit soft, (about 2 minutes).
- Add the wine and soy sauce and continue to stir for 2 minutes.
- When done, remove from heat and add the sesame sauce mixing it all together, and serve.

- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 2 (16 ounce) cans small whole mushrooms, like button mushrooms (plus the juice of one can or jar)
- 1/3 cup Burgundy wine
- Place beef broth in a saucepan and simmer onion for 15 minutes.
- Add mushrooms, along with juice from 1 can or jar and wine.
- Simmer another 15 minutes.
- Serve with steak.

Easy Lemony and Garlicky Mushrooms
Serving for: 4 Persons

- 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 lb mushroom, cleaned
- salt and pepper, to taste
- Place mushrooms on three pieces of foil stacked together and crumple sides to make a 'pan' that will hold the juices. You can use a metal pan underneath for added stability.
- Grate rind from lemon on top of mushrooms.
- Squeeze juice from lemon and add to 'pan'.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Leave 'pan' open on top and grill until tender, 6-8 minutes.
- These can also be baked or broiled in oven until tender or cooked in a saucepan on top of stove.
- I usually 'baste' the juices over the mushrooms every so often but it does not seem to affect the outcome if you do not.
